Curious about mahjong but don’t know where to start? A beginner-friendly class in Fort Worth lets you learn the popular tile-based game while meeting new people.
The Fort Mahj Club is hosting a Beginner Mahjong Class on Tuesday, November 3, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Old Texas Brewing Company in Camp Bowie.
The two-hour session will introduce newcomers to the basics of mahjong, including understanding the tiles, learning how to play, and building confidence at the table. No previous experience is needed.
Registration costs $40 per person, and seating is limited. You can pay via Venmo at @Barbara-Ann-Childers or Zelle through Tracey Salge at 817-371-3234.
For Benbrook residents interested in trying something new, the class offers an easy introduction to a game that’s as much about socializing as strategy.
