Six tables of mahjong players filled Benbrook City Council Hall Thursday morning, October 29, for a lively gathering with Benbrook MAHJ at the Benbrook Senior Activity Center.
Along with enjoying the game and one another’s company, players answered a last-minute request to bring treats for everyone at the center.
Organizer Carrie McQueary thanked the group for its generosity and willingness to pitch in.
What started as a morning of mahjong turned into a little something extra for the seniors, with plenty of games, good company, and treats to share.
