A new youth volleyball team could soon give Ventana girls a chance to learn the game together close to home.
The YMCA is looking to form a Ventana 8U girls volleyball team for its fall season at the Benbrook Community Center YMCA. No previous volleyball experience is needed, and all skill levels are welcome.
The eight-week recreational season begins Sept. 19, with an emphasis on learning the game, having fun and building friendships along the way.
The team is also looking for volunteer coaches to help make the season possible.
