Monday morning traffic brought a few headaches along Benbrook Boulevard, with Benbrook police responding to multiple calls within a couple of hours.
Around 7 a.m., officers were asked to check congestion along Highway 377 after drive-through lines near 7 Brew coffee shop reportedly backed traffic up for several blocks and began affecting nearby roads.
About 30 minutes later, dispatch reported a minor parking lot crash along Benbrook Boulevard involving a white Nissan SUV and black GMC Yukon. No injuries were reported.
By shortly after 9 a.m., officers were called to Benbrook Boulevard and Sproles Drive, where drivers were reportedly blocking driveways, cutting off other vehicles and running red lights.
Drivers traveling through the area Monday morning should expect heavier traffic and use extra caution.
