Benbrook residents have been generous with donations to the Benbrook Public Library, from books for the shelves to food that helps keep the library’s Little Food Pantry stocked for neighbors who need it.
The library is grateful for every donation, but has one small request: please bring donations inside during regular business hours.
Items left outside overnight can be damaged by weather or attract Benbrook’s nighttime critters before library staff can sort through them.
Donations can be dropped off Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
It is a simple thing, but donated books and pantry items can mean a lot to someone else in the community. The library says that generosity is part of what keeps its work going.
