Benbrook residents will soon have a new way to stay informed during emergencies.
Starting June 1, 2025, the city will replace the CodeRED/Reverse 911 system with the free Know NOW app, delivering real-time alerts about local emergencies, severe weather, and public safety issues directly to mobile phones.
The Know NOW app is live and easy to set up—requiring just a username, password, and one contact method, like an email or phone number. Residents can also monitor alerts for family and friends in the area, ensuring peace of mind at home or on the go.
