The Benbrook City Council will meet Thursday, July 2, at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 911 Winscott Road, with several financial and infrastructure items scheduled for discussion before a budget workshop.
Among the evening’s agenda items is a presentation of the Benbrook Economic Development Corporation’s proposed Fiscal Year 2026-2027 budget, along with the city’s May 2026 financial report, including revenue, expenditures, and sales tax updates.
Council members will also consider a design contract with Freese and Nichols for the Plantation West Creek Outfall Project, a drainage improvement initiative.
Residents will have two opportunities to address the council. Public comments on agenda items will be heard near the beginning of the meeting, while general comments on any city matter will be accepted later in the evening. Speakers are limited to three minutes.
Following the regular meeting, the council will hold a work session to discuss the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 city budget.
