As summer gets underway, the Benbrook Area Chamber of Commerce is already looking ahead to the next school year and inviting the community to help local students and teachers start strong.
The Chamber’s annual school supply drive is now collecting simple but much-needed classroom items, including fun stickers, sticky notes, classroom reward stickers, and Post-it notes of all sizes and colors.
The effort supports teachers and students across the Benbrook area by stocking classrooms with supplies used throughout the school year for learning, encouragement, and organization.
Donations can be dropped off at any Benbrook Business Exchange meeting or at the Benbrook Area Chamber office. Collection runs through July 22.
It may seem like a small contribution, but those everyday classroom supplies add up quickly. For local teachers preparing their rooms for a new year, a few packs of stickers or sticky notes can go a long way.
It’s one more example of neighbors helping neighbors and investing in the students who will shape Benbrook’s future.
