The National Weather Service (NWS) has forecasted the following weather for Benbrook:
Overnight, we’re looking at a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms, with partly cloudy skies and a comfortable low around 60 degrees. Winds will remain calm.
On Friday, the slight chance of showers and thunderstorms continues, mainly expected between 10 am and 1 pm. It’ll be mostly sunny, and we can expect a pleasant high near 79 degrees. A soft South wind of around 5 mph can be expected. By Friday night, there’s a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms between 1 am and 4 am, with a low around 63 degrees. The South wind will ease after midnight, and the chance of precipitation is 20%.
Heading into the weekend, Saturday will start off mostly cloudy, gradually becoming sunny with a high near 85 degrees. A light southeast wind around 5 mph will pick up. Saturday night will be mostly clear with a low around 66 degrees.
Sunday could be a bit wet, with showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 1 pm. Despite this, it’ll be mostly sunny, with a high near 86 degrees. The wind will shift from south-southeast at 5 to 10 mph to east-northeast in the afternoon. The chance of precipitation is quite high at 70%. Sunday night will bring a 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms before 1 am, with a low around 59 degrees.
As we start the new week, expect Monday to be mostly sunny with a high near 78 degrees. Monday night’s forecast calls for clear skies and a low around 57 degrees. Tuesday brings more sun, with a high near 85 degrees and a mostly clear night with a low around 65 degrees.
On Wednesday, prepare for a hot day with a high near 90 degrees under sunny skies. Wednesday night will be mostly clear with a low around 68 degrees. And finally, Thursday will be mostly sunny with a high near 89 degrees.
