BENBROOK, TX — James “Jim” Wilson Hudgins, 83, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
After retiring to Benbrook in 2008, Jim spent many years building a life rooted in family, faith, and quiet devotion. In 2023, he moved to Jacksonville, Florida, to be closer to loved ones, continuing to be the devoted husband, father, and steady presence he had been.
Family members remember Jim for his deep love and faithful living, always putting family first.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, May 4, 2026, at Jacksonville National Cemetery in Jacksonville, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association.
