As summer break settles in, Fort Worth ISD is helping make sure children continue to have access to nutritious meals while school is out.
The district will once again offer free breakfast and lunch to all children throughout the summer, providing families with an additional resource during the months when school cafeterias are closed.
Summer meal programs play an important role for many families, offering convenient access to healthy food while helping children stay fueled for summer activities, camps, and learning opportunities.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to check Fort Worth ISD’s summer meal schedule and participating locations for serving times and site information.
Additional details are available from Fort Worth ISD at the Summer Meals Information page.
With school out and temperatures rising, the program offers one less thing for families to worry about while helping keep children nourished all summer long.
