Zoo Run Returns April 11 with 5K and Family Fun.

If your spring calendar needs something active and a little different, the Fort Worth Zoo has you covered.

Registration is now open for Zoo Run, the annual 5K and 1K fun run that winds through the zoo grounds. Participants will move past animal habitats along a course that makes this race unlike any other in the area. Whether you are a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or pushing a stroller, all paces and ages are welcome.

The event takes place on April 11, 2026, and supports wildlife conservation efforts at the Fort Worth Zoo. For many families across Benbrook and Fort Worth, it has become a spring tradition that mixes fitness with a good cause.
