Westpark Elementary families had a fun way to show their teachers some appreciation Wednesday, October 28, as the PTA launched its one-day Route 44 Rally Challenge during the Great Wildcat Give fundraiser.
The challenge encouraged families to donate in increments of 44, from 44 cents to $4.40, $44, or more, with a little something extra for teachers.
Every classroom raising at least $44 during the challenge would earn its teacher a custom 44-ounce Sonic Route 44 drink delivered the following week. The classroom raising the most money would also win lunch for its teacher.
The challenge was part of the PTA’s ongoing fundraising efforts to support Westpark Elementary.
Families can learn more about the fundraiser or contribute at The Great Wildcat Give 2026.
