An outdoor Sunday will cost a little less next month.
Texas State Parks will offer free day-use entry at all state parks on Sunday, Nov. 1, giving families a chance to hike, picnic, explore, or simply spend some time outside for Texas State Parks Day.
More than 85 state parks are participating, but free admission does not guarantee a spot. Parks can reach capacity, so visitors are encouraged to reserve a day pass before heading out.
You can reserve day passes through Texas State Parks Reservations.
For Benbrook families looking for an easy Sunday road trip, it might be a good excuse to pack the car and explore a part of Texas you havenโt seen yet.
