The Western Hills High School varsity tennis team delivered a stellar performance at the South Hills Tournament, bringing home multiple top finishes and proving their dominance on the court.
Leading the charge, Jacqueline Mares took home 1st place in Girls Singles, while Elaina Montalvo secured 2nd place in the same category. On the boys’ side, Erick Perez battled his way to a 2nd place finish in Boys Singles.
In doubles action, Janette Mesa & Michelle Gutierrez claimed 3rd place in the Consolation Girls Doubles bracket. Vianet Garcia & Madison Allen earned 3rd place in Girls Doubles, and Nich Henry & Laine Hammer locked in 3rd place in Mixed Doubles.
The Cougars showed grit, teamwork, and championship mentality throughout the tournament, making Western Hills proud. With this momentum, the team is ready to take on the next challenge—on to the next victory!
