Western Hills Student Calls for Greater FWISD Accountability.

Western Hills student Chris Robertson is speaking up for students and staff he believes deserve better support, instruction, and leadership from Fort Worth ISD.

During a recent FWISD Board of Education meeting, Robertson challenged district leaders to look beyond student performance data and consider the experiences behind the numbers.

Robertson argued that accountability should extend beyond students and teachers to district leadership, raising concerns about transparency, trust, and whether students and staff feel comfortable speaking openly about problems within their schools.

He says he plans to continue advocating for those who feel unheard, emphasizing that meaningful educational progress requires listening to the people most affected by district decisions.

For Robertson, improving FWISD schools begins with recognizing that student success is about more than test scores and performance reports.
