Benbrook, Texas – Bill Hanna, a cherished husband, father, brother, and friend to many, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully in Cozumel, Mexico, at the age of 62.
A funeral service honoring his life will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Greenwood’s Live Oak Chapel, located at 3100 White Settlement Road, Fort Worth, TX 76107. Interment will follow at Greenwood Memorial Park. Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation an hour before the service.
Bill’s legacy is one of kindness, generosity, and unwavering compassion. His warm spirit touched countless lives and left an indelible mark on everyone he met. Family and friends will forever treasure the memories of his love and positivity.
In honor of Bill’s enduring commitment to helping others, the family requests donations of winter coats for the homeless to the Bill Hanna Memorial Coat Drive. Coats can be dropped off at the Presbyterian Night Shelter, 2400 Cypress Street, Fort Worth. Monetary contributions in Bill’s memory may also be made at journeyhome.org, with an option to designate the donation in his name.
