With summer break officially underway, Freedom Church is preparing to turn three evenings in June into a safari-themed adventure for local kids.
The church’s Vacation Bible School, titled “Safari to Faith,” will run June 17 through June 19 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and is open to children ages 4 through 12.
Organizers say kids can expect Bible lessons, games, crafts, music, food, and hands-on activities centered around learning about faith, trust, and God’s love. A special surprise party is also planned for the final night of the event.
The free summer program is designed to give families a fun and welcoming place for children to connect with others while school is out and summer activities ramp up across the community.
