For young athletes looking to sharpen their game this summer, Benbrook Baseball Camp is stepping back onto the field June 1 through June 3 with three mornings focused on fundamentals, competition, and fun.

Hosted by the Benbrook Bobcats, the summer baseball camp runs from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Benbrook Youth Baseball Fields and gives players the chance to learn directly from a program with a strong track record of success.

The Bobcats have built a winning tradition, claiming district championships from 2019 through 2026, along with a 2019 Regional Finalist finish, a 2021 Regional Quarterfinalist appearance, and a 2024 Regional Semifinalist run.

Campers will work on the core parts of the game, including hitting, defense, base running, pitching, and catching. It is designed to help young players improve their skills, build confidence, and enjoy the game in a competitive yet encouraging environment.

The cost is $100, with a discounted rate of $80 available for siblings and FWISD employees.

Camp directors include Justin Chavez, Brady Donart, Cullen Black, and JP Rubalcaba, giving players direct instruction from experienced coaches who understand what it takes to compete and grow on the field.

Participants are asked to bring a glove, bat, cleats, helmet, and water. Families should also note that concessions will be available for purchase, including drinks, popsicles, candy, and seeds, but it will be cash only.

For many kids, summer camp is where confidence starts to grow long before the next season begins. It is where swings get better, friendships get stronger, and love for the game gets even deeper.

For registration, families can scan the QR code on the official camp flyer. Questions can be directed to 940-632-7075 or 940-633-8037.
