If you’re celebrating outdoors this Independence Day, keep an eye on the sky.

Four F-35 Lightning II fighter jets from the 301st Fighter Wing are scheduled to fly over North Texas on Friday, July 4, as part of a patriotic salute honoring America’s 250th birthday.

Per KRLD NewsRadio, the formation is expected to pass over the Benbrook area between 5:45 and 6 p.m. before continuing to Fort Worth, Bedford, Grapevine, Flower Mound, Frisco, Plano, Highland Park, Dallas, Arlington, Keller, and back to Fort Worth.

Flyover times can change slightly, so if you’re hoping to catch a glimpse, plan to be outside a few minutes early.
