Benbrook residents have plenty to be proud of this week.
Western Hills High School students in the only USAF JROTC program in FWISD stepped up in a big way, presenting the Color Guard for a service member’s retirement at the Joint Reserve Base. The honor came at the request of the 301st Fighter Wing, USAF Reserves.
While there, the cadets connected with the Dyess AFB Honor Guard from Abilene and met with top leaders of the 301st. It was a day filled with respect, learning, and strong representation of their school and community. Every cadet made an impression, showing the discipline, skill, and pride that define their program.
