The Western Hills Lady Cougars are finding their rhythm at the right time.
Coming into Friday night on a two-game win streak, and outscoring opponents by an average of 4.5 goals during that stretch, the Lady Cougars kept the momentum rolling with a strong 8-3 victory over Diamond Hill-Jarvis. It was a familiar result, as Western Hills also won the last time the teams met in March 2025.
With the latest victory, the Lady Cougars have now won three in a row. They improved to 4-13 overall and 4-2 in district play, currently sitting fourth in the standings and very much in the mix.
Next up is a matchup against Southwest at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, a contest that should test just how far this recent surge can carry them.
