Heads-Up, Benbrook: Prescribed Burn at Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge.

BENBROOK, TEXAS—Residents of Benbrook and nearby areas, take note: a prescribed burn will take place at the Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge on January 23 and 24.

Today’s controlled burn will focus on a section of the Oak Motte Trail. Before heading out, visitors are encouraged to check with gate staff or the Hardwicke Interpretive Center for updates on trail closures.

The Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge, located at 9601 Fossil Ridge Road, Fort Worth, TX 76135, is conducting this burn as part of its land management program to maintain ecological health.
