If you were scrambling to find a clear backpack for the new school year, Fort Worth ISD just made things a little easier. For the 2025-26 school year, clear backpacks are no longer on the list of required items.
With school starting August 12, now’s a great time to double-check dress code details and make sure your student is set. FWISD has posted all the information families need to know at www.fwisd.org/families/dress-code.
So skip the plastic and focus on the basics. The countdown to day one is on.
