Grief can feel especially heavy when you’re trying to carry it by yourself. A new gathering in Benbrook hopes to give people a place where they don’t have to.
Benbrook Tea & Wellness is launching a free monthly Grief Workshop after owner Jennifer Lloyd, LPC, saw a need among people coming through the shop and wanted to offer additional support.
The group will meet every third Wednesday of the month at Benbrook Tea & Wellness, 971 Winscott Road. The workshop is designed as a supportive place to talk, listen, connect with others, and find hope while navigating grief.
According to the event flyer, the gathering is open to everyone, whether the loss is recent or happened years ago.
There is no cost to attend.
For those walking through grief, or simply looking for people who understand what that journey can be like, there’s now another place to find that support close to home.
