Benbrook residents, get ready for a high-tech twist to meal delivery—Wing has partnered with DoorDash to launch a drone delivery service right at Hulen Mall, just a short drive from the area.
Promising to deliver meals and items in under 15 minutes, this service is the first of its kind at American shopping malls, with a second location also launching in Frisco at Stonebriar Centre. DoorDash users with eligible addresses can select drone delivery at checkout, offering quick access to over 50 merchants through the app.
Wing’s drones can zip along at speeds of up to 65 mph and lower deliveries from a height of 150 feet. The company follows strict FAA regulations to ensure safe operation and limits flights to daytime hours. Already serving parts of Texas, Virginia, and California, Wing’s new Hulen Mall hub brings cutting-edge convenience closer to Benbrook.
