On Saturday, June 14, just after 5 p.m., a major accident caused a complete stop to southbound traffic at the intersection of Hulen Street and Southwest Loop 820, just outside Benbrook.
According to initial reports, a driver ran a red light and collided with another vehicle as it entered the intersection. The impact caused one vehicle to overturn, blocking all southbound lanes.
Fort Worth Police and Fire crews arrived quickly. The driver of the overturned vehicle managed to climb out and appeared to be uninjured.
