Community Rallies to Help Deer Trapped Near Benbrook Intersection.

What started as a simple plea for help quickly turned into a community effort Sunday after a deer became trapped in barbed wire near the intersection of Chapin School Road and Rolling Hills Road.

Shortly before noon, a concerned resident reported that what appeared to be a young buck was caught in fencing and unable to free itself. The post immediately prompted neighbors to share ideas and resources in hopes of getting assistance to the animal as quickly as possible.

As residents worked to identify the appropriate agency, updates began to come in. Fort Worth Animal Control was contacted and responded, but because the location was outside its jurisdiction, residents were advised to contact the Benbrook authorities. Community members also suggested reaching out to wildlife rehabilitators serving Tarrant County through the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.

Soon after, an update confirmed that Benbrook Animal Control was on its way to assess the situation and determine how best to help the deer.

The incident served as a reminder of how quickly neighbors can come together when an animal is in distress. While the outcome was not yet known, local residents wasted little time making sure the trapped deer received the help it needed.
