Benbrook Middle High School wrestling made a strong statement this weekend as the THSWCA 4A State Dual Championships kicked off at Kay Yeager Coliseum.
Competing against some of the best programs in the state, the Lady Bobcats powered their way to a fifth-place overall finish, while the Bobcats boys team battled through a tough bracket to claim third place overall.
It was a weekend marked by grit, teamwork, and the kind of effort that shows how far the program has come. However, the success did not happen by accident.
Credit goes to the athletes who left everything on the mat, along with coaches Cribbs, Hartley, Carrillo, and Foshee, whose leadership and preparation paid off when it mattered most.
A big thank you also goes out to the families, friends, and supporters who traveled to Wichita Falls to cheer on Benbrook’s wrestlers.

Benbrook wrestling continues to build momentum, and if this weekend is any indication, the Bobcats are just getting started.
