Bobcats Football Rack Up All-District Honors After a Strong Season.

Benbrook has plenty to cheer about this week as the Bobcats closed their season with an impressive list of District 4-4A football honors. The recognition spans every corner of the roster, highlighting the talent, grit, and leadership that shaped this year’s team.

First Team selections celebrated the standout playmakers who set the tone on Friday nights. Defensive powerhouses Austin Cross, Desmond Chambers, Zack Burks, and J.J. Deane were recognized for their dominance, while Aiden Carpenter, Will Cook, Dorian Johnson, and Waylin Barton represented the offensive firepower that kept Benbrook competitive all season long.

Second Team honors went to a hard-working group that consistently delivered when it mattered most, including Clay Bowers, Ethan Tucker, Landry Farris, Griffin Womack, Jacob Moser, Quentin Thomas, and Jaxyn Donart.

The district also handed out major superlatives, with senior quarterback Brennan Barton earning Co-Offensive MVP, senior lineman Jacob Carpenter taking Defensive MVP, and sophomore punter Seth James being named Special Teams Player of the Year.

Academic All-District recognition went to Seth James and J.J. Deane, both maintaining a 90 or above while competing at a high level. Honorable Mention honorees rounded out a deep and determined roster, featuring Andy Garcia, Lucas Martinez, David Contreras, Jacob Cathey, Deshawn Deane, and Tyler Newman.
