The Benbrook Public Library is kicking off its Summer Reading Program with a full week of activities for every age and interest. Whether you’re rocking babies to rhythm, trading puzzles, or dancing in headphones, there’s something here to make your summer brighter.

Monday, June 16

  • 9:30–10 am: Move & Shake (ages 0–7)
  • 10:30–11 am: Book Babies (ages 0–2)
  • 2–3:30 pm: Miscellaneous Monday (ages 2–12)

Tuesday, June 17

  • 9:30–10 am: Explore & Play (ages 2–7)
  • 10:30–11 am: Preschool Storytime (ages 2–7)
  • 2–3:30 pm: Family Making It (all ages)
  • 5:30–7 pm: Writing Critique (ages 18+)

Wednesday, June 18

  • 9:30–10 am: Baby Sensory (ages 0–2)
  • 10:30–11 am: Book Babies (ages 0–2)
  • 2–3 pm: Teen Flip Book (ages 12–17, registration required)
  • 6:30–8 pm: Knit & Crochet (ages 18+)

Thursday, June 19

  • Closed for Juneteenth

Friday, June 20

  • 10:30–11:30 am: Music with Donna (ages 2–12)
  • 1–4 pm: Robotics (ages 8–17, registration required)
  • 6–8 pm: Silent Disco (ages 18+)

Saturday, June 21

  • 10:30 am–4 pm: Community Puzzle Swap (all ages)
  • 1–4 pm: Jigsaw Puzzle Competition (ages 12+, registration required)
