Families in Benbrook have plenty of reasons to visit the public library this month, as the October Storytime Schedule features eight unique programs designed for kids of all ages. From babies to preschoolers, and even neurodiverse children, the library has crafted experiences that blend fun with learning.
Highlights include Book Babies for children aged 0–2 on Mondays and Wednesdays, Move & Shake for children aged 2–7 on Mondays, and Preschool Storytime for children aged 2–7 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Special themed sessions add variety throughout the month, such as Bilingual Storytime on October 7 and 28, Storytime Yoga on October 17, and Baby Sign Storytime on October 1 and 15.
The Benbrook Fire Department will also host a Safety Storytime for all ages on October 10, while a new Neurodivergent Storytime for ages 3–7 will debut on October 29. Advance registration is required for the neurodivergent program, which can be completed at this link.
