Storytime looks a little different for families who communicate using assistive devices, and Benbrook Public Library is making room for them to learn and enjoy stories together.
On Saturday, October 17, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., the library will host AAC Storytime, featuring Go Away, Big Green Monster! by Ed Emberley.
Designed for ages 3 to 21, the program welcomes families who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices, providing a calm, supportive setting to practice communication skills and become more comfortable using their devices.
Families interested in attending can register online.
Benbrook Public Library is located at 1065 Mercedes Street. For additional programs, visit the library’s event calendar, benbrooklibrary.org, or call 817-249-6632.
