School may be back, but summer fun isn’t finished just yet.
Jakes Burgers and Beer and Tacos & Avocados are hosting a Back-to-School Bash on Saturday, Aug. 29, from 6 to 9 p.m. at 9300 Benbrook Blvd.
Families can take on a mechanical bull and 60-foot obstacle course, catch live music from Chaz Marie, and enjoy free face painting from ColorPop Face Paint until 8 p.m.
The Benbrook Public Library will also be there with information about its school-year programs and resources, plus giveaways and a raffle.
Author and creator Parker James will meet fans and sign copies of Steven & Parker: Dinos Are Forever!, based on the StEvEn & Parker web series. The first 50 books will be free.
Here’s to one more summer-style night out as summer’s quickly fading away.
