Benbrook seniors planning their August activities will want to take note of a couple of changes.
The Benbrook Senior Activity Center has released a revised August 2026 calendar, with regular favorites including Hand & Foot, Mah Jongg, bridge, canasta, Mexican Train and Pegs & Jokers continuing throughout the month.
Special activities include Birthday Bingo on Aug. 5, Sunshine Rock Painting on Aug. 12 and a Dine & Unwind outing at Rio Mambo on Aug. 19.
One important change: the Senior Activity Center will not meet at the Lions Club on Aug. 27 or 28.
The center is located at 911 Winscott Road in Benbrook. Regular hours are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday.
