Jakes Burgers and Tacos & Avocados Taking Shape on US HWY 377 South.

If you’ve driven south down Highway 377 through Benbrook lately, you may have noticed a big change.

The fencing around the highly anticipated Jakes Burgers and Tacos & Avocados development has come down, revealing a partially completed parking lot and, more recently, steel beams rising quickly into place.

For months, residents watched as the 7 Brew Coffee project seemed to race ahead, despite Jakes and Tacos & Avocados breaking ground earlier. Now, construction momentum has shifted, and both restaurants are going up at a steady pace.

While no official opening date has been announced, it’s reasonable to expect doors could open as early as Thanksgiving 2025, with spring 2026 as a more conservative estimate.

Whenever the ribbon is cut, this restaurant park will add fresh dining options and a new social hub right in the heart of Benbrook.

Big things are happening along 377, and this project is shaping up to be one of the most exciting additions yet.
