It’s not every day you pack up your sleeping bag for a night under the stars… inside your local library. But that’s exactly what’s happening at the Benbrook Public Library on Friday, July 25, from 6 to 8 p.m.
This one-of-a-kind after-hours event invites kids and families to transform the library into a cozy campground, complete with pillow forts, campfire stories, and classic camping snacks. It’s the kind of night where bedtime routines take a backseat to imagination, and books become part of the adventure.
All you need to bring are your pillows and blankets. The library staff will take care of the rest.
Located at 1065 Mercedes Street, the Benbrook Public Library continues to find creative ways to bring the community together and make reading fun, fresh, and family-friendly. So if you’re looking for something different to do with the kids this summer, this event might just be the memory-maker you’re looking for.
