Wildcat Wednesday Honors Benbrook Heroes Ahead of July 4th.

This week’s Wildcat Wednesday is all about celebrating local heroes: the Benbrook Fire Department.

Benbrook Fire Department Firefighters do more than protect the community. They also visit schools to teach kids about fire safety and let them explore the gear, even climb into the fire truck.

The Wildcat got a chance to sit behind the wheel, making it a memorable day.

As the city prepares for fireworks and summer fun, the message is clear: stay safe, leave fireworks to the pros, and follow fire safety rules.
