Who says summer reading rewards are just for kids?
The Benbrook Public Library is wrapping up the season with an Adults End of Summer Reading Pizza Party on Friday, Aug. 7, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Adults 18 and older are invited to enjoy pizza, games, music, prizes, and an evening celebrating the books that made summer a little more memorable.
Guests are encouraged, but not required, to dress in their favorite ’80s, ’90s, or 2000s attire for a nostalgic trip back to the days of library reading programs. While an RSVP is not required to attend, the library asks participants to register so staff can plan for enough pizza.
