Benbrook YMCA Hoops Camp Scores Big with Heart and Hustle.

It was more than just basketball this week at the Benbrook Community Center YMCA.

Campers showed up ready to play, but they left having grown in character, too. From sharp passes to full-court defense, kids put in the work on the hardwood, but what really stood out was how they leaned into values like respect, honesty, and responsibility.

Coach Fred Jones kept the energy high and the lessons clear, making this week one to remember.

Next up? Volleyball. Camp kicks off from July 14 to 16 for ages 7–14, and spots are still available. Expect more fun, more growth, and a lot of great volleyball.
