One of Fort Worth’s best-known entertainment venues is getting a new name, but the events that bring thousands of visitors to Montgomery Street aren’t going anywhere.
Dickies Arena is being renamed Ariat Arena under a new 10-year naming rights agreement, according to local Realtor Josh Harville of Fathom Realty.
Harville reports that the change follows a pause in payments under the previous naming agreement. Ariat already has an established presence at the venue, having sponsored its premium club since 2023.
For concertgoers, sports fans, and Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo visitors, the biggest visible difference will be the signage. The arena’s events and operations are expected to continue as usual.
The new name marks another chapter for the Montgomery Street venue, a familiar destination for residents throughout Fort Worth and neighboring communities, including Benbrook.
More information is available in Harville’s video update.
