With Early Voting Underway, Councilman Moore Endorses McQueeney.

As early voting begins for the November 3 election, Benbrook City Councilman Sean Moore, Place 5, has publicly endorsed State Representative John McQueeney for reelection to Texas House District 97.

In a Facebook statement, Moore credited McQueeney with helping secure an additional $1 million in state funding for Dutch Branch Park improvements, doubling what Moore described as the city’s original $1 million budget.

Moore also praised McQueeney’s involvement in Benbrook affairs, noting his attendance at City Council meetings and his office’s participation in discussions surrounding Mary’s Creek and local flood protection.

Although Moore acknowledged that he does not know McQueeney closely on a personal level, he said his endorsement reflects what he has observed of the representative’s work on behalf of Benbrook.

The endorsement represents Moore’s personal position, not an official endorsement by the Benbrook City Council.
