National Cheeseburger Day is Friday, Sept. 18, and several restaurant chains are offering freebies, BOGO specials, and discounted burgers to celebrate. Before you head out for lunch or dinner, check the fine print.
Promoted deals include offers from McDonald’s, Burger King, Dairy Queen, Buffalo Wild Wings, Shake Shack, Smashburger, Wendy’s, Sonic, and Hardee’s.
Depending on the restaurant, you could find a free cheeseburger, a discounted favorite, or a buy-one-get-one deal.
Before you head out for lunch or dinner, check the fine print. Many of these specials require the restaurant’s app or rewards account, and some require an additional purchase.
