Benbrook Middle-High School has a new team covering the teams.
Rally Cats Media is returning for the 2026-27 school year, putting four BMHS seniors behind the camera, on the sidelines, and across social media to tell more of the stories happening around their school.
The student-run platform plans to cover sports, campus events, behind-the-scenes moments, news and other happenings throughout BMHS. This year’s staff includes seniors Abigail Estes, Cash Bergen, Keaton Hennessey, and Lexie Garcia.
But Rally Cats Media is more than a school spirit page. It is also a working classroom.

All four students are enrolled in Advanced Marketing, the final course and practicum in BMHS’ Business and Marketing Career and Technical Education pathway. Over the past three years, they have studied digital marketing, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and professional communication. Now they get to put those skills to work for a real audience.
Each student will also bring a different corner of BMHS into focus.
Garcia, a four-year varsity soccer player, will primarily cover Ladycat varsity volleyball. Bergen, who plays football and baseball, will focus on cross country. Hennessey, a football media member and four-year varsity hockey player for Southlake Carroll, will primarily cover football.
Estes, meanwhile, is involved in theater and Academic UIL and serves as captain of the Emerald Line Drill Team. She plans to cover Emerald Line and cheer while sharing more in-depth stories about programs that may not always receive as much attention.
From the classroom to the field and court to the stage and sidelines, Rally Cats Media will give Benbrook another way to keep up with the students, teams, and stories that make BMHS what it is.
