Sometimes the best classroom lessons come from a game tucked away in someone’s closet.
Western Hills High School business teacher Lucynda Nicholson is looking for a copy of the classic Parker Brothers Payday board game to use with her students. Whether it’s an older edition or a newer version, she’s hoping someone in the community has one they’re willing to part with.
The game teaches practical money management and budgeting skills in a hands on way, making it a great fit for a business classroom.
If you have a copy collecting dust in an attic, game room, or storage closet, this is a chance to give it a second life while helping local students learn real world financial skills.
The request was shared through Western Hills High School and the Cougar Pride Alliance, and community members with a copy to donate are encouraged to reach out.
