Some logos are designed in a conference room. Others are earned in the field.
For years, customers of Stone’s Throw Farm Co. have recognized the farm’s red Radio Flyer wagon logo. Recently, the farm shared the story behind it with a photo taken nine years ago: a well-worn red wagon piled high with freshly harvested cucumbers.

Long before additional help arrived and before the farm began to grow, that wagon was a daily part of the harvest. It hauled vegetables from the fields and became a familiar symbol of the hard work, simplicity, and hands-on spirit that helped build the business from the ground up.
What began as a practical tool eventually became something more. The wagon represented those early days of planting, harvesting, and doing whatever it took to get fresh produce from the farm to the community.
For customers, whether new or existing, it is a glimpse into the farm’s roots, and a reminder that behind every local business is a story, and sometimes that story starts with a red wagon full of cucumbers.
