FORT WORTH, TEXAS — The Western Hills Cougars boys’ soccer team put on a commanding performance Tuesday night, securing a dominant 5-0 road victory over the Dunbar Wildcats.
It was a total team effort, with Giovanni Tapia, Yerfeson Tovar, Jurem Enriquez, Joey Rangel, and Guadalupe Roman each finding the back of the net. Assists came from Guadalupe Roman, Juan Lopez, and Rickey Tellez, showcasing the Cougars’ crisp ball movement and offensive chemistry.
With the win, Western Hills improves to 5-4-2 overall and 4-1 in district play, currently holding the second spot in the standings. Up next, they host Diamond Hill-Jarvis in a crucial district showdown tomorrow night.
