Lady Cougars Soccer End Seven-Game Skid with 5-0 Victory.

The Western Hills Lady Cougars are starting fresh in 2024, and their new beginning couldn’t have come at a better time.

After a tough seven-game losing streak, the Lady Cougars finally found their rhythm in a dominant 5-0 shutout against Fort Worth’s Young Women’s Leadership Academy (YWLA) last night.

The Lady Cougars’ offense and defense clicked, earning their first season win in style. The victory puts Western Hills at 1-7 overall and 1-0 in district play. They are currently second in the district standings.

Next, the Lady Cougars will hit the road for a matchup against the Eastern Hills Lady Highlanders on Friday, January 31st, at 8 p.m. to wrap up the month of January.
