Behind the Greens: How Benbrook Par 3 Keeps Play Smooth This Spring.

BENBROOK, TX — As spring settles in, the fairways at Benbrook Lighted Par 3 Golf & Range are ready, but what players may not see is the work happening beneath the surface to keep those greens in top shape.

This season, the course continues using Dryjecting, a method that injects water and sand directly into the soil in a single pass. The result is healthier turf without shutting down play, allowing golfers to stay on the course while maintenance is underway. Benbrook was among the early adopters of the approach, well before it became more widely used.

Alongside it, newer technology like the Air2G2 system helps improve soil conditions by injecting air into the ground, supporting stronger root systems and more consistent playing surfaces.

That kind of upkeep does not happen on its own. Staff members Owen, Ethan, Brayden, and William have been putting in the hours behind the scenes, doing the physical work that keeps the course looking and playing the way golfers expect.

For regular players, the results show up in smoother greens and a better overall experience, though course staff also remind golfers to do their part by repairing ball marks and respecting the work that goes into maintaining the grounds.

Benbrook Par 3 Golf Course is located at 1801 Winscott Road in Benbrook. For hours, pricing, or more information, call or text 817-249-3727 or email deb@benbrookgolf.com.

It is easy to focus on the game itself, but the condition of the course tells its own story, one shaped by steady work that most people never see.
