Two Benbrook residents stepped forward to be heard during the January 5 City Council meeting, continuing a long local tradition of civic engagement.
According to the official meeting record, Karen Dixon and Zebulon Freeman addressed the City Council during the portion of the meeting reserved for citizen comments.
While the minutes do not detail the topics discussed, their participation reflects residents’ ongoing involvement in local government and community decision-making.
The meeting was held at City Hall and adjourned shortly after, but moments like these remain an important reminder that Benbrook’s voice is shaped not just by elected leaders, but by the neighbors who show up, speak up, and stay involved.
